Little Miss Kate: The first two months.

I can't believe how fast time flies. I'm pretty sure I can look back at Jackson's two month post and I'll have said the exact same thing. Although, time seems to be getting even faster. There isn't enough time to enjoy all the sweet and precious moments that these little ones bring!

At two weeks, Kate was:

Height: 20.5 inches
Weight: 7 lbs. 15 oz.
Head: 35.25 cm.

At six weeks, Kate was:

Height: 21.25 in.
Weight: 11 lbs. 7 oz.
Head: (can't remember!)

She's in the 40-50% for both height and weight and around the 35% for head size. She definitely got a little bit more of the Krebs genes than Jack did!

Just one week old in these photos!

Just 5 days old in these photos!

I don't know what we did, but Jack got a bad stomach bug and a nasty cold all in Kate's first two weeks. This is the morning after vomiting every 15 minutes for 5 hours straight. Poor guy fell asleep in our bed at 9:30 in the morning (which has never happened).

Jack gave Kate her sticker :)

This is what happens when you sleep with bows on :)

2 am and she's bright eyed and grinning!

Those cheeks!

Bath with Jack! It lasted all of 1 minute.

Such a sweet big brother.

My whole life.

First bath at home!

Please forgive the crazy-haired mommy.

Chuck would keep Kate late at night while he studied so that I could sleep. All-star husband.

Two's a party :)

We love this little girl so much. She is already so good at holding her head up, loves to grin at me, loves to watch her big brother, loves to "stand up" on my lap while I'm holding her hands. She doesn't mind getting her diaper changed at all. She has finally gotten used to the car seat and the swing and doesn't cry as much when she is in either one of them. She prefers sleeping on her tummy, but is getting used to her back. She is already a thumb sucker - both of her thumbs are raw. She is cooing and will "talk" and make great eye contact with us. She likes to hold hands, it calms her down. She likes bath time, but hates the getting dressed part afterwards. She's definitely a spitter. In fact, she got Chuck on the top of his head just yesterday. She brings so much love into our home. Jack loves her and so do we :)

Thanks to Sarah and to Denisha for the wonderful newborn photos!
