Blessed.

Thanks to Mom and Dad Krebs for Jackson's adorable blessing outfit!
On Christmas Day, Jackson Andrew Krebs was given a blessing by his proud Papa. It was such a sweet and happy occasion and we are so grateful for our families for taking time to be there, especially on Christmas morning. I'm especially grateful for the Parker family who came to the blessing and their sweet little kids, David and Olivia, who were excited to be there even though they had presents waiting to be opened at home! Jackson sure does have some awesome relatives who care so much about him.

Our happy little family :)

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we give a baby blessing to little children. The blessing is performed by worthy priesthood holders. The father usually pronounces the blessing. It includes the naming of the child as well as a blessing. This blessing, along with all other blessings that can be given in the church, are given through the power and authority of the priesthood allowing them to be a mouthpiece of God. I'm so grateful that Chuck is a worthy priesthood holder and that he is capable of calling on God to bless our family. Through Chuck, Heavenly Father blessed little Jackson with health, integrity and joy. He was also blessed to be a peacemaker in our home and be a good example to the rest of his siblings yet to come. What a wonder this gospel is. I'm so grateful for the chance to raise up Jackson with the knowledge that he has a Father in Heaven who loves him and cares about him.
