Christmas #3: South Carolina Style

On December 27th we made the drive to Anderson, S.C. for a visit with my momma and Sarah and Perryn. Leah was able to come up on the same day so we had some quality Woods girls bonding time :)
We had our "Christmas morning" on December 28th.

Jackson had SO much fun with his Aunts and Grandma.

"There are dogs under me?"

"Oh, hey dogs!"

Jackson helping unwrap.

Loving all his gifts from Grandma!
We stayed in South Carolina until January 1st. We spent our break hanging out with Grandma, shopping (Thanks, mom!), sewing (Thanks again, mom!), installing a couple dozen lights that mom can't reach (Thanks, Chuck!) and watching home movies! We had such a fun break!

For New Year's we watched the ball drop (Midnight keeps getting later and later each year - make them stop changing it on us! ;) ) and sipped on some sparkling cider. I rang in the New Year by making my first ever sewing project: a pillow slipcover. Pretty awesome New Years if you ask me :)

Reading with Grandma :)

The woods girls. Unfortunately we forgot to take this photo when Sarah and Perryn were still in town and the tree was still decorated.

This is the face he makes when he makes the elephant noise :)

Trying out my new sewing machine!

This video is of Jackson's favorite present of all three Christmases :)

We had a pretty fabulous time. Thank goodness for wonderful family that made this year of multiple Christmases so much fun :)
