Oh hello, internet.

My gracious father and his girlfriend, Kathy, allowed Chuck and I to live in the basement of my childhood home while we were in transition from Utah to the townhome in Kentucky. Not only did they let us take over their basement, they feed us dinner, let Jack get into practically everything, shared groceries with us and babysat! We had a blast living with them and are grateful for the time we were able to spend together.

However, since all the girls had moved out, my Dad discontinued his internet service, logically. I guess it's true what they say about the younger generation and their addiction to technology because, wow.  Chuck, my lovely twitter-happy, espn-loving, hulu-watching, google-friendly husband and I, the pinterest addict, blog stalker, all-recipes queen, struggled to live "disconnected."

While I'm glad we had a few months to experience life before internet (like using actual cookbooks for recipes, getting out maps to figure out where something is, looking through magazines to design our townhome, etc.), I am happy to report we are "connected" yet again. And what did we do last night? Watched White Collar on hulu in bed. Just like the good ole' days.

So, we're back :)

  1. That is too funny. I don't think I could survive. Internet ranks higher than food on the importance ladder for me :)
