We have mostly played outside around our house, but on a particularly snowy weekend Matt and Corinda and their kiddos met us at my Dad's house and we went sledding at the end of my road. Visiting the place where I always went sledding as a kid was nostalgic! I think all the kids had fun...for the most part. The last run of the day was a bit of a traumatic one - check out the video.

Let it snow.
We have had BUCKETS of snow this winter! Which means, we've played outside a considerable amount!

Christmas!
Merry Christmas! We had such a wonderful Christmas holiday with family and friends. We got to spend lots of time with family in Kentucky and in South Carolina because Chuck had over three weeks off of school (I'm going to miss holiday breaks once Chuck graduates!). We headed to South Carolina on the 23rd and drove through the night. We spent Christmas morning through the 30th at my mom's house. We had tons of fun with Mom, Leah, Sarah and Perryn and the Conniff family and Aunt Karen who came down to S.C. from Michigan!

1. Playing Beyblades with Andrew :)
2. When opening presents he would say, "Oh my! Oh my!"
3. He would remember what we had got people and new what packages they were and would tell them before they opened them! I was impressed with his memory and made a mental note to wrap presents while Jack is sleeping next year :)
4. He opened Kate's presents for her and got so excited for her and would give them to her :)
5. He had so much fun with Emma and "Annew." Watching them play together was so fun.
We had a fantastic Christmas and I feel so grateful for all of the blessings we have. Especially for our wonderful family.
A weekend in Tennessee.
It seems a little surreal to be writing this post and seeing our little girl squirm around right next to me, when she's still inside my belly in these photos!
My mom planned a fun weekend in the mountains of Tennessee for the girls. We stayed in a beautiful cabin on a farm with horses. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, shot Perryn's handgun, played yard games, cooked s'mores, cuddled up and just enjoyed a beautiful relaxing weekend! All the photo credit goes to Sarah on these! I'm so grateful she documented our awesome weekend AND took some family/maternity photos for me :) THANK YOU!

| One of my most favorite photos of all time. |
So grateful for my family! And for the special moments in our lives. I'm slowly learning how to appreciate each time of life. To enjoy each moment for what it is, because they are all special and important, no matter how difficult they might be. And because those moments fly by wether we enjoy them or not - so we might as well soak it all in :)
